Does a luck VPN raise your eFootball pack odds? The truth

Plenty of videos promise a “luck VPN” or an “Epic trick”. This article says what we know with sources, what nobody knows, and exactly what we do.

Official from KonamiEntertainment

Search for eFootball luck and you'll find dozens of videos: a VPN that raises Epic odds, a country with “better luck”, a trick before opening a pack. We make an app with a section called Boost Luck — so it's on us to tell the whole truth before anyone else.

Where do pack odds come from?

From Konami alone. The game's official odds page says player acquisition rates are uniform within a list, and that the published rate is for the first pull only and then changes with the number of players left. The page mentions no effect from your country, your connection or your apps, and Konami hasn't published anywhere we know of that the connection changes them. We walk through the page with examples in our pack odds guide.

So does a VPN raise your luck?

Neither we nor anyone else has evidence that it does. A VPN changes the route of your internet connection; changing the odds themselves would mean tampering with the game's systems — which we don't do, don't claim, and don't believe anyone who claims it. If you see a video that “proves” a trick with one lucky pull, remember: each player's rate is fixed and published, and lucky pulls happen to people with and without the trick.

Then what's the “VPN” in Cptn PES?

Our app does have a real VPN connection, and we say exactly what it does: it's called match mode, and it's a local VPN interface on your phone — no server and no outside middleman. Every app is routed into it except the game and ours, and the packets that arrive are dropped. The result: background downloads and updates pause, leaving the bandwidth for your match.

  • It's a bandwidth reservation, not a speed-up — it doesn't shorten the distance to the game server.
  • Not a single byte of your data passes through us — there's no outside destination at all.
  • And it doesn't change pack odds.

Then why call the section Boost Luck?

Because luck is the fun of the game. Boost Luck Entertainment gives you daily luck moments, reminds you before every rise, and lets you try a pack inside the app with “🃏 One pull” or “🎴 10 pulls” before you spend anything in the game. The “device luck” percentage it shows is clearly labeled entertainment — it isn't a Konami rate and doesn't affect one. When you tap “✓ Accept & activate”, the real match mode described above runs with it.

How to protect yourself and your account

  • Never give your account login to any app or site that promises luck or coins. Cptn PES never asks for it — the Smart Coach reads the screen you choose to share.
  • Download apps from their official sources only, and watch out for copycats using celebrities' names.
  • Any pack's real rate is on Konami's official page — everything else is talk.

Summary

No VPN, app or country changes Konami's published odds. The VPN in Cptn PES is a network reservation for your match, inside your phone, and Boost Luck is labeled entertainment — and we say so loudly because players deserve the truth.
