eFootball pack odds: what Konami actually says (+ calculator)
Before any “luck percentage”: this is what Konami itself writes about pack odds, with an example from a real pack and a calculator that works out the exact chance for you.
Every eFootball player has asked it: what are my chances of pulling the Epic? The answer isn't a secret and doesn't need a “luck app” — Konami publishes it on an official odds page. We read it in full ourselves on 7 October 2026, and here's what it says, nothing added.
What does Konami publish?
The game's official odds page is in Japanese. Here is our translation of its key lines:
- “Player acquisition rates are uniform.” Every player in the list has the same chance per pull — Epic and standard alike.
- The displayed rate is for the first pull only, based on the number of players at the first pull, not on how many remain now.
- “From the second pull onward, the rate changes according to the number of remaining players.”
- Displayed rates may be rounded, so they may not add up to exactly 100%.
- You can see the remaining players in-game from the special player list's “View all” (our translation of the page's menu path).
Each pack on the page has three numbers: its end time (UTC), the number of players at the first pull, and the first-pull rate.
A real example: a Spanish League pack
On the official page on the day we wrote this: the Epic: Spanish League Midfielders pack had 150 players at the first pull, with a first-pull rate of 0.6667% — one in 150 per player. Our app's “View all” shows its make-up: 3 Epics (Kaká · Edgar Davids · Guti), 8 Highlights and 139 standard players.

From those numbers alone we can work everything out:
| Question | Math | Result |
|---|---|---|
| A specific Epic on the first pull | 1 ÷ 150 | 0.67% |
| Any of the 3 Epics on the first pull | 3 ÷ 150 | 2% |
| Any Epic within 10 pulls | 1 − (140×139×138) ÷ (150×149×148) | about 18.8% |
| When is one Epic guaranteed? | After all 147 others are out | Pull number 148 |
| When are all three guaranteed? | Worst case: the last one is last in the list | Pull number 150 |
Why does the rate rise with every pull?
Because draws are without replacement: the player you pull doesn't go back into the list. If you pull once and no Epic comes out, the list now has 149 players and still 3 Epics — so the second pull's rate becomes 3 ÷ 149 instead of 3 ÷ 150. The rate creeps up with every pull that misses. That's exactly what Konami's line means: the published rate is for the first pull only.
And a direct mathematical consequence: if you pull as many times as there are players in the list, you've taken them all — nothing is left.
Work it out yourself
Enter any pack's numbers: players in the list, how many of them you want, and your number of pulls. The calculator applies the same without-replacement rule — pure math, not “luck”.
Without-replacement draw calculator Math
Take N from the pack page (or the odds page), and K from “View all”.
So where does Boost Luck fit?
Boost Luck in Cptn PES Entertainment is entertainment: it gives you daily luck moments, reminds you of them and lets you try a pack inside the app before you spend anything. It does not change Konami's odds — no app can. The real numbers are the ones in this article, and their source is Konami's page.
Summary
- Every player in the list has the same rate — Konami says so.
- The published rate is for the first pull only, and it rises with every pull because draws are without replacement.
- Any number shown to you as a “fixed rate for the whole box” or “your device's luck at Konami” doesn't come from Konami.
